Finance

Financing a built rig

One amount, one lender network: the vehicle and everything bolted to it, financed together.

Every figure on this page is an example the shop sets. Nothing here is an offer of credit.

How it works

Three steps, and the first one is short

A built rig is not a stock vehicle with accessories on it, and the finance side works differently because of that. Here is the whole sequence, including the part we do not do.

  1. 01

    Pre-qualify

Send the short form on this page. It asks what you are financing, your budget and your timeframe. No Social Security number, no date of birth and no income figures at this stage.

  2. 02

We take it to our lenders

We put the rig in front of lenders who finance outfitted vehicles. They read the vehicle and the build as one amount on one term, rather than a vehicle plus a pile of parts.

  3. 03

    Application and collection

You complete the lender’s own application with them and sign it with them — we never hold it. When it clears, the rig leaves with its build sheet and its install record.

Outfitting & accessories

To a lender, a base vehicle and a finished rig are two different objects. A conventional vehicle loan covers what is on the factory invoice; the suspension, the armour, the power system and the sleeping setup sit outside it, and they usually end up on a card or a personal loan at a worse rate.

The lenders we work with finance the completed rig. One amount, one term, one payment — the vehicle and the build together, itemised on the same contract.

See what a build includes

What the financed amount can include

  • The vehicle
  • Parts — suspension, armour, power, sleeping
  • Fitting and labour
  • Taxes, title and fees, where the lender allows it
  • Extended cover, where you buy it

What it cannot include: anything that is not on the invoice at delivery — a tent bought later, a trailer bought separately, fuel.

Payment calculator

Estimate a payment

Enter a price, a deposit and a term. This is arithmetic: it uses the example rate below, it does not include tax, title or fees, and it does not know what any lender will approve.

Number of Payments: 0
Payment Amount: $ 00.00

Example only. The rate shown is a placeholder the shop sets; it is not a quote, an approval or an offer of credit. Your rate and term depend on the lender, the rig and your own credit. Tax, title, registration and fees are not included.

Pre-qualification

Start a pre-qualification

A short form. It is not a credit application, and nothing goes to a lender until we have spoken.

  • A finance manager reads it.
  • They reply by email or phone — whichever you gave us.
  • If it makes sense, they introduce the lender and you apply with them directly.

Your details go to this shop only. Nothing is sold, and nothing is passed to a lender without your say-so.

Questions

Financing questions

Can the build be financed with the vehicle?

Yes. That is the point of the lenders we use: the vehicle and the build go on one contract, at one rate, over one term. A conventional vehicle loan will not do that, which is why a rig bought this way often carries a lower total cost than the same rig financed in two pieces.

Do you finance trailers and truck campers the same way?

Yes. Off-road trailers, teardrops and truck campers go through the same lenders and the same form as motorised rigs. The application asks what you are financing so the right lender sees it first.

Does sending this form affect my credit?

The form on this page is not a credit application and we do not run a credit check to receive it. The lender’s own application is a credit application; they will tell you what kind of search they run before you sign anything.

What will my rate be?

Nobody on this page can tell you, and anyone who does is guessing. The figure in the calculator is an example the shop sets so the arithmetic has something to work with. Your rate comes from the lender, and depends on the rig, the term and your credit.

Can I finance a build on a vehicle I already own?

That is a different product — it is not a vehicle loan, and it is not arranged on this page. Talk to the shop about it, and see Outfitting & accessories for what an install involves.

What will the lender ask for?

Their own application, identification, proof of income and proof of insurance, in the forms they specify. We do not collect any of it and we do not hold it.

Finance disclosures

‹The shop replaces this block with its own disclosures: the lenders it works with, its licence or registration numbers where the state requires them, its equal-credit-opportunity notice, and how it handles applicant information. This text ships as a placeholder and must be replaced before the site goes live.›

Every figure on this page — the example rate, the budget bands and any payment estimate — is an example the shop edits. Nothing on this page is an offer of credit, an approval, or a commitment to lend.
