Trade in your rig

We take rigs in trade against a rig from our stock, and we value the build as well as the vehicle.

We do not buy rigs outright or sell them on consignment. Every figure is written by a builder who has read what you sent.

How it works

Three steps to a figure

A built rig is valued part by part. The vehicle is only where it starts, so the form asks about the build before it asks about you.

  1. 01

    Send the build

The form on this page asks what the rig is, what condition it is in and what is fitted. The build summary counts for more than anything else on it.

  2. 02

    A builder reads it

Someone from the install bay reads it and replies by email, with a written figure or with questions if the build needs a closer look. Send photos in that reply.

  3. 03

It comes off your next rig

Bring the rig in when you have chosen one from our stock. Once we have seen it and it matches what you sent, the figure goes against the deal.

Appraisal

Get a trade-in figure

One form. It goes to this shop and nowhere else, and it is not an offer until we have seen the rig.

What goes into the figure

  • The vehicle or trailer — year, mileage where it has any, condition
  • 01 Suspension — as fitted
  • 02 Armour — as fitted
  • 03 Power — as fitted
  • 04 Sleeping — as fitted
  • Install records and receipts, if you have them
  • Wear, damage and anything that needs doing

Loose gear — a cooler, a recovery bag, a tent still in its box — is not part of the figure.

Photos help. The form does not take uploads, so reply to our email with them: the build, the odometer, and anything that needs work.

Your details go to this shop only. Nothing is sold or passed on.

Questions

Trade-in questions

Do I have to buy a rig from you?

Yes. We take rigs in trade against one from our stock; we do not buy outright and we do not sell on consignment. If you have not chosen a rig yet, send the form anyway: the figure is applied when you do.

Do you take trailers and truck campers?

Yes. Off-road trailers, teardrops and truck campers are traded in the same way as motorised rigs. The form only asks for mileage when the rig has an engine.

Is the figure an offer?

It is a written figure based on what you sent. It becomes an offer once we have seen the rig in person and it matches the description. How long a figure stands is in our trade-in terms.

Can I send photos?

Yes, and they help. Reply to our email with them. The build close up, the odometer, the tyres, and anything that needs work are the ones we look at first.

I still owe money on it. Can I trade it in?

Usually, yes. Say so in the build summary. The payoff is settled with your lender as part of the deal; what that needs depends on the lender.

What do I bring on the day?

The title, or your lender’s details if there is a loan on it. Both keys. Any install records and receipts for the build, and any parts that came off it.

Terms

Trade-in terms

‹The shop replaces this block with its own terms: how long a written figure stands, what it needs to see at the appraisal, how a payoff is handled, and any state-specific notices. This text ships as a placeholder and must be replaced before the site goes live.›

A figure sent in reply to this form is an estimate from the details you gave. It becomes an offer only when the rig has been seen in person, and only against a rig from our stock.
